Each club has 'key-members' which include committee members. Below are founder members of the club, as well as the assistant secretary of the junior club.
Key members:
David Hardman: Chairman
David started archery in 2003. To date he has managed to shoot 60m. His many interests include the technical side of shooting. David is the only member of the club who can shoot all of the major forms of archery, which include a longbow and compound. He has also performed a ‘Robin-Hood’, which is splitting your own arrow!
Kelly Hardman: Secretary
Kelly has done very well since 1993. She has entered several competitions but at present due to injury, she now focuses on training, especially the mental and physical aspects of shooting.
She has now worked her way up to the rank of 1st Class.
Her aim to enter the Olympics, maybe in 2012, if she is medically fit.
Sheila Hardman: Treasurer
Sheila is the supportive backbone of the club. Despite not being able to attend shooting sessions, she is nonetheless, a very pro-active member of the club. Her aim is to see the club become a great success for the local community.
Kim Marchant: Assistant Secretary Junior Club
Kim is the assistant secretary of the Junior Club. Kim began shooting in 2005 and has gone from strength to strength in the very short time she has been shooting. Since she began, she has managed to break numerous county records and been awarded the highest classification a club can award. Kim also assists with training when her educational and archery studies allow.
