Kim's 6- Gold end 6 arrows in the gold on a 40cm Target face at 30m! |
Kim first began archery in 2005 as a past-time. She passed through the beginners training course with ease and soon moved through the various stages of training with in 6 months of joining. Her training continued and she progressed into the advanced course in late 2006. As the months went by, she worked her way up the classification table and achieved consistant high scores In early July, we held an awards ceremony for the juniors. Along with other juniors that received classification badges, Kim was awarded the highest award the club can give: The Junior Master Bowman award. In December 2006 Kim entered her first competitionand came a very impressive second! Since then, she has entered another competition and came 1st and has broken numerous county records. Her future plans are to continue to progress at the pace she is at the moment, enter more competitions and do well in her forthcomming SATS exams later on in the year.
